A little about me...

By the grace of God, I am a wife, mom, Bible-study group leader, home-school newb, lover of bread and chickens, but most of all, a child of the Most High God. My highest priority in life is to know and serve Him better. I hail from the southern coast of North Carolina with my husband, son, and daughter on our family farm. The coast and a farm? Yes, it exists and we really do have the best of both worlds!
 
But why am I here? My goal in writing is to help other women foster a hunger for the Word of God. The world we live in is full of lies, but you cannot distinguish a lie unless you first know the truth. My aim is to explore the truth of God's Word and tell of the beautiful and intricate inner-workings of every line on those pages. Every story breathes the name of Jesus, all we have to do is listen.

Like Mary's story in the book of Luke, we are to 'choose the good portion' daily, sitting at the feet of Jesus, learning all we can, always in amazement and awe of His beauty and wonder. In John 6:35, Jesus proclaims, "I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst", and in John 20:21 He tells His disciples, "As the Father has sent Me, even so I am sending you". We are called and we sent, and this is my answer to the call.
